Caruso Family Charities is a 501(c)3 Organization dedicated to supporting various family and children’s charities in Colorado. The proceeds from Caruso Family Charities events directly benefit families that have children living with cancer. These families are in need of financial assistance due to the significant cost of medical treatment.
In 2009, Caruso Family Charities donated $50,000 to Children’s Hospital Colorado to financially assist families that have children living with cancer.

Our mission is to help families of children who have a life-threatening or life-altering illness while they are undergoing treatment. Within certain limits and resources, our foundation may assist families with both medical and living expenses while under treatment.

Aliveara is a single mother to three kids, Joe (15), Jessiah (11), and Ak'ya (9). After losing his wife to breast cancer in 2009, Donovan Arterburn became the main caregiver for his three youngest daughters diagnosed with Friedreich’s Ataxia (FA), a debilitating, life-shortening, degenerative neuromuscular disorder.
When Jerry met Eric and Jillian Steinberg, they had two sons, Gage, 3 and baby Jax, 16 months. At 33 days old, Jax was diagnosed with Cockayne Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that involves progressive multi-system degeneration characterized by premature aging.
Shelly Maddox has two children, Ian and Tesla. Ian suffers from Sanfilippo syndrome, a debilitating terminal illness that has left him confined to a wheelchair.
