We had our whole hour remodeled, and Morgan from Caruso Kitchen designed our kitchen and bathrooms. We could not be more pleased with the result and Morgan was a pleasure to work with. She listened to us and helped us design exactly what we were looking for, and was always available to answer questions and oversee the construction. Sometimes with a small project it can be difficult to receive attention, much less great service, during a time when remodeling and building are crazy busy. Jessica, was not only friendly, she provided exceptional service. She offered good advice and money saving ideas that I very much appreciated. They have strong attention to detail, doing all their own site measurements to create accurate drawings. If a problem does arise, they are on the job site right away talking solutions. Working with Caruso Kitchens was such a pleasure! Everyone we interacted with was extremely professional, courteous and knowledgeable. We were originally over budget and Jared helped us find small ways to get closer to our number without having to sacrifice function or overall design. Their designer Mark was absolutely amazing! He has a true gift for listening to the client's needs, being able to transform the space into something visually stunning and make it functional as well. Caruso Kitchens is hands down the best Kitchen design company in Colorado! We live in a beautiful 100 year old Victorian house in the Highlands neighborhood and when we bought the house in 2007 we liked our little freshly remodeled kitchen but we quickly outgrew the space. I do a great deal of cooking, baking, and entertaining so kitchens really matter to me. We choose to remodel our kitchen/house instead of moving to a new house. BEST decision and money we’ve ever spent! Jared Caruso took a look at our space and proposed moving our small kitchen into our huge dining room. A month later construction started. Our kitchen project was a very large project and transformed our house. I spent a lot of time researching different kitchen companies and Caruso Kitchens blew everyone else out of the water. Jared is incredibly knowledgeable about kitchens (and construction in general) and just a super nice and helpful guy to work with. We had some issues with one of our contractors and Jared went above and beyond to make sure everything worked out. I was able to double the size of my kitchen and the amount of cabinets! Spending the money on nice cabinets was hard to understand at first but now I completely understand why it’s so important. They are timeless, sturdy, beautiful, and the main feature of our kitchen. I can tell stories of friends and family that went with cheap cabinets recently (they’re still expensive but look cheap and don’t last) but it’s not worth the time – don’t waste your money, do it right the first time. From moving gas lines to taking out walls Jared was there every step of the way. I really do spend a lot of time in my kitchen and I LOVE my Caruso Kitchen. I can recommend Caruso Kitchens without any reservation.

Our kitchen was in great need of updating, and we also wanted to make some significant changes to our floor plan to create a more open space. So we did some research and decided to hire Caruso Kitchens - and we cannot recommend them highly enough! They were amazing to work with from the first day. Jared and Mark helped us to pinpoint exactly what we wanted, and then designed the perfect kitchen for our needs - all within our budget. The layout is not only beautiful but ergonomic - we no longer trip over each other (and the kids!) trying to get around. The quality of our cabinets is above and beyond anything we found anywhere else (and we did a fair amount of shopping around) - and was so worth the investment. That said, Jared and his team always respected our budget and we never felt any pressure to spend money on upgrades that didn’t fit our budget. Jared, Mark, and the whole Caruso team have a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience when it comes to kitchens, and it shows - especially in the little touches that make our kitchen unique and amazing. From our first meeting with Jared and Mark we felt confident that they understood what we wanted and would help us every step of the way - and they did! They were always accessible for questions and put a tremendous amount of work into our project, all the while being so easy and fun to work with. We were a little apprehensive about the prospect of being without a kitchen for 6 weeks, especially with two small children, but the Caruso team honestly made it easy - AND they finished the project one week early and under budget (really!!). We would HIGHLY recommend Caruso Kitchens.

Caruso Kitchens came up with a wonderful design for our kitchen, pantry, laundry room, and master bath. We were extremely happy with the attention to detail and overall design. We ended up with a design that is very functional as well as beautiful. When we ran into problems, they were addressed and corrected promptly. Overall, we couldn't be happier with the finished product.

Jared, Jerry, and Mark worked with us to understand our overall needs in every room of the house, and provided a cabinet design that met our objectives and fit our price range. We only had one hiccup along the way and that was a cabinet that had a corner damaged in shipping- they replaced it as quickly as possible and made everything right. Peggy and I wanted to thank you for the outstanding work done by Jared Caruso and your design staff on the remodel of our home this spring. From the many visits to your show room to the follow-up in our home the design and installation were excellent. Each time questions came up Jared did the leg work and provided concise answers and insights as we did the installation. Bill and Trevor, your installers, performed in a manner that emulated the care and concern of the Caruso team. They were always professional, courteous and always very clean. Whenever we had questions they provided thoughtful insights into improving the finished look of every aspect of our remodel. Jared deserves a special recognition for the way that he follows-up. Jared was always visiting the project to insure we were getting the best Caruso could offer. He communicated well and continually kept us informed on the progress of the project. I just wanted to drop you a quick note to tell you how happy we are with the kitchen remodel your company recently did for us. From the very beginning when we first visited the Caruso Kitchens showroom, where we were warmly greed by Jared, we felt very comfortable. Jared was very professional in explaining the operations of the company and set us up with Kim Foutz who became our designer. Kim did a great job in listening to our needs and desires for our kitchen and came up with some great ideas of her own. Frank Bernardi was our general contractor and did a great job in setting things up and coordinating all the work. He made a point to make sure the work was done on time and kept the project moving along. He was a pleasure to work with. Also, you have true craftsmen working for you Jerry. From Edgar, who laid the tile floor and installed a difficult backsplash that came out fantastic, to Tom who did a magical job on texturing the drywall to Bill who did a great job installing the cabinets. Their attention to detail was incredible and much appreciated. My wife and I could not be happier with how our kitchen turned out. We highly recommend Caruso Kitchens to anyone who is thinking about remodeling their kitchen. Thanks again Jerry!

John and Peggy Basil adore their Wheat Ridge home. Liz Majors and her daughter Anne love to cook and entertain. But it was a challenge in the cramped kitchen of their 50-year-old home. With Anne in a wheelchair, a remodel was in order to widen the space and make it easier for her to move around, so Liz went to Caruso Kitchens. “For years I collected kitchen photos from home decorating magazines,” said Liz. “My Caruso Kitchens designer Kim, understood that I wanted a classic,timeless design that won’t get old or dated,” said Liz. “Her solution included convenient extras that are within reach of Anne’s wheelchair – a lower refrigerator drawer, a knee area below the sink and counter, and even a pull-out shelf for our tv media center. Now, Anne and I can watch the game together when we both come home. I absolutely love it,” Liz enthuses. She added, “I thought I’d find inspiration in the magazines, but I never thought I’d have a magazine kitchen!” Now she truly does.

Remember us? We’re the people who said we would send you some before and after pictures of the kitchen project you did for us. Sorry to be so late with them, but the photos of the completed remodeling stayed in my camera for quite a long time and then we’ve been really busy enjoying our kitchen. We selected what we thought would be good comparisons between like areas and these seem to be the best examples. We had duplicate prints made so these are yours if you would care to have them. As we have already told you in person, we are really pleased with our new kitchen. Thank you for all of your suggestions and hard work putting it all together. We want you to know that we were also pleased with the quality of workmanship which went into the whole installation. Mike, Roger, and Rob are to be congratulated for their excellence.

When I finally decided to remodel my kitchen in Centennial, I began the process of visiting kitchen showrooms. I wasn’t getting a great feeling about any of them. I heard about Caruso Kitchens, in Lakewood, and made the visit to their beautiful showroom. After meeting Susie Killion, my Caruso designer, I immediately knew why they had such a great reputation. From start to finish, it was an amazing experience. Her knowledge, design ideas, integrity, and wonderful products were immediately evident. Dear Jerry and Jared, Mary Sue and I sold our house in Highlands Ranch, the one you remodeled our kitchen in 2009. We sold it to the first family that looked at it. Her comment was that she actually bought the kitchen, it just happened to have a house around it. She said that she has never seen any kitchen so beautiful and functional. Remodeling a kitchen is torture! The list of headaches is long: the decisions - everything from countertops to the shape of the “whatchamacallit” under the “thingamagig”, the shopping, the finding competent craftspeople (only some of whom show up and work), the anticipation of wall board dust in your morning coffee, the doing the dishes in the bathtub, the endless parade of people in your sanctuary. My advice is that when the spirit moves you to even think about changing more than the paper towels, run, don’t walk, in the opposite direction! Or, have the very good fortune of encountering Jessica Lewis at Caruso Kitchens. Our project started with changing a leaking kitchen faucet but grew, monster-like, into a whole-house renovation. After several feeble stabs at starting, a kind friend suggested hiring a kitchen designer. I gasped. My husband built our home and I’m an artist. We should be able to do this ourselves. I countered with: “Yeah, but that costs lots of money.” “Not necessarily,” informed our buddy, “You might be surprised.” “Often, if the designer works for a kitchen design company, the cost of his or her services is covered by the price of the cabinets you order from that firm.” “ And,” he went on, “they can steer you away from serious mistakes and to some great resources.” “Yeah, right,” I thought skeptically but went to Caruso Kitchens anyway. She didn’t float down from the heavens on a cloud but Jessica was a godsend. Precisely as our friend had predicted Ms. Lewis was: knowledgeable, hard-working, talented, creative, an incredible listener, a detail person, and, as another friend pointed out: “A girl who can run a tape measure.” She was very respectful of our budget, design opinions (our design concept is “Goat Roper Industrial”), quirks, cats, and order changes. We live in the foothills outside of Denver and she’s visited four times already with another visit planned for when we get “really finished.” She pointed us to fabulous resources for lighting, plumbing and appliances. Her recommendations for a cabinet installer and tile setter were dependable, skillful and reasonably priced. She was here in a snowstorm with clipboard in hand carefully checking in each and every box when the cabinets were delivered. She was the voice of reason when I thought I wanted bright red countertops and/or cabinets. “It might not be everybody’s cup of tea if you decided to move.” But she was all for our red back splash when we suddenly opted for that. Now here’s the punch line: The friend who recommended we consult a kitchen designer just moved to a new home. Guess who’s designing his kitchen? That’s right, Jessica Lewis.

I was cleaning our kitchen today and realized that perhaps we hadn't adequately conveyed to you just how much we love our kitchen! Everyday Kirk and I sit at our table, look around and can't believe that we have the perfect kitchen for us. People ask if there are one or two things that I love the most about the remodel; I can honestly say no! We love everything, from the beautiful white cabinets, to the counter tops, the floors, the under cabinet lighting, the trash/recycle center, the hardware, the stainless appliances (love, love the stove and hood) and the deep, single bowl sink. Thank you thank you for all your help in making this kitchen a reality. I wasn't sure we could afford everything we wanted, but with your help (and reassurance) we did! And lastly, thank you for putting us in touch with Mark Archer, our contractor. He really "got us" in terms of details and the "look" but was also considerate of our budget. We worked with Jessica @ Caruso Kitchens to purchase custom cabinets for our kitchen and our bathroom. Our kitchen remodel was complete a couple of years ago and we were so pleased that we also purchased custom cabinets for our more recent bathroom remodel. Jessica was wonderful in assisting us with design and product choices. Deliveries were made on time and there were no surprises. Any little glitches that came up (i.e. needed additional crown molding piece to accommodate difference in the thickness of the marble countertop we ended up purchasing) were handled in a very timely manner, and with an excellent outcome.
